    A collection of famous romantic piano music, operatic arias, ballads and songs: composers include Gluck, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Lehar, Verdi, Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Tosti, Delibes, Quilter, De Curtis, Bernstein, Rodgers & Hammerstein.


    "Many songs have been written about love, that ethereal emotion we all need an long for. It is often elusive, something we have no control over; cupid fires his dart and we are lost and our lives change forever. Love has inspired great poets and composers through the centuries and in this programme we have tried to include not only romantic songs but also songs which portray all the different aspects of the emotion. From the passion of young love to the heartbreak and desolation for lost love; a father’s love for his son, a king’s love of power and the reflections of a love which might have been."

  • Musicals and Movie Magic

    As the title suggests, this exciting and moving programme includes famous and nostalgic songs from Broadway and West End Shows and music and songs that have featured in films: composers include Chopin, Richard Addinsell, Nina Rota, Romberg, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Kurt Weill, Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe and Bernstein. Bringing this wonderfully diverse programme to a dramatic and passionate conclusion are medleys from “Phantom of the Opera” and “Les Miserables”…..

  • The Golden Age of Vienna

    Composers include Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Johann Strauss II


    Between 1790 and 1850, Vienna experienced a golden age of music; it was certainly the musical and cultural capital of Europe, if not the world. Heading a long list of composers who made their reputations there during this period, are the four great classical masters: Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert and, a little later in musical history, the famous Strauss family.


    These composers are included in our programme and their music is represented by piano solos and piano duets. The narration will include anecdotes, letters by the composers and contemporary reviews – all of which, combined, present an overall picture of the musical scene and culture of Vienna during this gloriously productive age.

    A collection of music for solo piano and voice and piano by Italian composers and composers who lived in or loved to visit, compose and perform in Italy: composers include Scarlatti, Galuppi, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Liszt, Rossini, Donizetti, Tosti, Puccini, Verdi, De Curtis

    A musical journey, from the glittering ballrooms and theatres of Vienna, with its sparkling melodies from opera and operetta, to the magical atmosphere and dazzling lights of Broadway. A wonderfully diverse programme of famous musical gems, from Mozart, Lehar, Strauss and Gilbert & Sullivan to the compelling and passionate songs from Musical Shows like West Side Story, Porgy & Bess, Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables...
